Today we start to submit some photos of "common" dreams and its interpretations by famous psychologists like Freid and Jung. This serie of polaroid shots is called "Snap Shot of a Dream"

We are not going to stop submitting every tuesday the normal dream pictures you have already seen. So stay tuned for the new things in the DreamDrawers project.

The project...

DREAM DRAWERS is an idea of interaction between image and thought. Own images through other’s thoughts. It is a project that tries to find an interaction in the virtual community through the languages of dreams and photography.

A dream is “a show exhibited behind the closed eye-lids” (Charles Maillant). This show is full of experiences, memories, desires and a rich gamut of precious information, because of its capacity of suspending, in time and in space, all kind of human inhibitions.

The game is about finding the different meanings and symbols that each dream has. It is about creating interpretation of dreams that are narrated through photographic images, incoming into the world of shapes, color, effects and dimensions.

“A photography, in the mean time that registers what already has been seen, always and because of it’s own nature, tells about what is not seen.” (John Berger). In that way, the DREAM DRAWERS’ idea is to relate virtual with concrete, illusion with reality and knowledge with creativity.
